Skill Academy
Workshops in pottery, woodworking, resin, metal art, theater, music, photography and more — taught by working artisans.
Join the hands-on revolution
CraftyRooster is a space created for makers and artists to learn and create their next masterpiece. Whether you are a beginner or an expert — the space allows you to bring to life your dreams — away from the hustle and digital overload of the city, breathe in some fresh air and get inspired as you sit amidst nature.

An art sanctuary on the fringes of Bangalore.
Why we built this
Bangalore has world-class cafés, co-working spaces and weekend malls — but almost no place to spend an afternoon making something with your hands, surrounded by people doing the same.
CraftyRooster is built for that gap. A sanctuary where children learn from artisans, adults rediscover their hands, and a city in a hurry remembers how to slow down.
One place for makers to dream, reflect & Make

A slow café serving farm-led plates and pour-overs — a place to linger between makings.
03
A curated shelf for what our makers and visiting craftspeople create — every piece traceable to its maker.

These glimpses from the site show the makerspace interiors, verandah passages, and the quiet character of the campus as CraftyRooster comes to life.

Daylit worktables, arched openings, and room to build.

Textured walls, filtered sun, and a slow-living rhythm.

Built for hands-on classes, prototypes, and shared making.

A playful glimpse of the world the sanctuary is growing into.

Music, movement, and gathering under the trees.
Social impact
Every workshop is led by a working craftsperson — potters, carpenters, theater-makers, photographers. Class fees go back into the artisans' practice and into apprenticeships for young makers from nearby villages.
CraftyRooster is not a co-working space dressed in jute. It's a quiet experiment in keeping skilled craft alive in a city that keeps forgetting it.
Workshop bookings, makerspace memberships and event invites open alongside our doors in June 2026. Write to us in the meantime.
